Varnamala, a journal of creativity, was born in 1988. From the print-medium, it turned into
a web-publication.

When the World Poetry meet was held in India, Bharat Bhavan got access to the works of noted poets of various countries for publication, in collaboration with selected journals.

Varnamala was one such journal.

Some of those poems are placed here as archival assets of all-time significance.

Varnamala is committed to promotion of creativity: in poetry, art and other genres of expression.

Varnamala has published Web-Anthologies of Indian-English Poetry and Oriya Poetry (in English translation). Varnamala has published the first web-book of Oriya literature : 'Bodhinabha' by Rajendra Kishore Panda.

'Bodhinabha' and other web-books can be browsed by accessing the links provided in the
new habitat site of the Varnamala.
